About the artist
As a child Jessica had always found it easy to immerse herself in any form of putting colour onto surfaces. Much other mother's dismay, that activity once included the application of wax crayons on her bedroom door. AT age 10 Jessica was introduced to watercolour painting from her late mentor, Marion Comins, who was a wonderful watercolourist based in Vryheid, KZN. After completing her BSc[Architecture] degree at the University of Pretoria Jessica worked in the field for 4 years before deciding to become a TEFL teacher. Making beautiful art is Jessica's primary joy and she continues to produce paintings part time.
